
ABOUT US
- VELOYCE
Veloyce Shackleton is a
Californian who has been residing in the Mother Lode country for the past 20
years. A Certified Massage Therapist for 10 years, he is credentialed from the
Healing Arts Institute in Roseville, CA.
- VeLoyce worked for 2 years with the Gold River Chiropractic Clinic
under the supervision of
Dr. Stubblefield and Dr. Johnson. He has also worked at
Dr. Wilkenson's Hot Springs and Spa in Calistoga, CA.
- In addition to the basic certification, VeLoyce has been trained in
Sports Massage Deep Tissue Massage Acupressure And Shiatsu.
- He has developed his own technique of Massage: "Attack Oriented
Target Massage", a technique by which the practitioner concentrates or
targets the most problematic area the client has.
- Among his sports massage clients are two current boxing and kickboxing
World Champions. Other professional athletes include: kayakers, baseball
players, football players, tennis players, golfers and rodeo cowboys.
- MARSHA
- With the growth of their business Marsha now oversees business
administration.
- Prior to working with Veloyce, Marsha Shackleton had a business as
an artist working with glass. Her talented hands have created artwork that has
been purchased by collectors all over the world.
- She received her credential at the Davis School of Massage and received
special training in Watsu (water massage) and Healing Touch at Harbin
Hot Springs.
- Although not doing any massages now, Marsha is also trained in
Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.
- Along with managing the office she also uses it to showcase her art, using
the space as a continuing art project.
JASON
THEIS
- Jason has been a certified massage therapist since 2007, is
certified in Sports Massage, and has been studying the Monster's unique
modalities and approaches since 2005. He is available to do massages Monday
through Saturday. Jason has trained in the martial arts since 1995 under
Master Sensei Steve Fossum, Professor Don Cross, Sensei Conrad Woodall,
and Grandmaster Sifu Eddie Chong. He holds a black belt in Won Yuen Fa
and has studied extensively with Sifu Eddie Chong in Tai Massage and
Thai Therapy. In his studies with Sifu Chong, Jason has found
the techniques and approaches in this Eastern practice a wonderful complement to
the more direct Western modalities he specialized in first. Issues that Thai
massage assesses are carpal tunnel syndrome migraine headache whiplash injuries
just to name a few.
Jason also has training in CPR, first aid, and has earned 2 Associates
Degrees from Heald Business College.
